IUF Rulebook2012
The official rules for Unicon16 have now been published by the IUF. We are asking all competitors to familiarize yourself with these new rules. All competitions at Unicon16 are based on the rules of the Rulebook2012. The new Rulebook2012 is arranged and structured more clearly than the previous one. There are small changes in almost all disciplines. We are quite happy to finally being able to present you the final rules. Update: Age Groups and Limits
There have been some changes considering age groups and limits:
RelaysLimits for the relay races have been canceled. This means, all 4x100 relay teams that signed up can participate in the competition. Please keep in mind that there are two different age groups for relay races, which are being held on different days:
Relay 15+ on July 24th
Relay 0-14 on July 25th
Remember, all relay teams have to register before April 30th 2012.
100m unlimited
These races are being held in two different age groups:
Male & female 0-18
Male & female 19+
Unicon16 Rules:
Please check all the Unicon16-Rules in the Eventinstrucitons
For example, helmets are needed for all track races.

Freestyle
We would like to apologize for the few details we have been able to provide you with until this point. Our former freestyle event director, Ryan Woessner, won’t be able to participate in Unicon16. This is why we’ve been dealing with more work than originally expected.Haruko Matsunaga from Japan is our new event director and John Foss.
The performing area for freestyle competitions is now defined.
Performing Area:
Individual & Pair 20x17m
Groups 26x20m
We are working hard on the freestyle part and will be able to tell you many more details soon.
Downhill gliding,
There is no more limit for competitors. We do have only a time limit from 1:30 min.Map

Jumps
For Trials, Speedtrials, Flat, and Street competitions we have asked you to consider your level of riding during registration. The competitions however, won’t regard the level of the riders. We collected this information in order to plan these competitions thoroughly.Trials
Preliminary rounds will be held July 21st in two different groups. The best riders will compete again on July 25th.
Flat and Street
These events will be divided into Junior and Senior competitions.
Activites
All of the ideas you would like to realize together with other unicyclists at Unicon16, such as trips, games, workshops and other, please put them in our list of workshops, so we can arrange them with our schedule and avoid clashes. ListRegistration Deathline April 30th
Registration will be closed on April 30th 2012. After this date, no registration or editing is possible. Only Non-Competitors will be able to sign up after this date.Please find all the competitions you signed up for in the new timetable (above), in order to check that there are no collisions. Also, please reconsider which competitions you really plan on taking part in and only sign up for these. Please make (Registration) edits as soon as possible.
