Early start rule

For the following events, in case of an early start the competitor will get a 10 seconds time penalty added to his time. The riders can continue the race and the start will not be done again. This rule allows us to have a big number of starts in time.
● 10Km
● Muni Cross Country
● Muni Uphill
● Muni Downhill
● Marathon
● 100Km

Protective clothing

If a competitor is not using the required safety equipment, it results in a disqualification in this discipline.

Doping

Again we want to point out the anti-doping rules of Unicon16. Athletes that are doping will be disqualified from all Unicon16 disciplines. The current list of WADA will be a basis. Link
In Italy there are very strict anti-doping laws. The doped athletes and their coaches are threatened by law with prison and high fines. Doping controlls may be made by both government and by Unicon16 without announcement.

Protest

All protests are handled at the info point only. The protest form and the rulebook 2012 is available there.
Protests are accepted only within one hour after posting the results; it needs to be submitted in written form. The first Protest per starting number is free. For all further protests for the same number a fee of 50€ is required to submit a protest within the same time period. If the protest is accepted, this fee is refunded. In case of rejection of this protest, this amount remains with the organizer.
The protest will be processed within 24 hours after submission.

Free Internet for all registered participants

All registered participants will receive an access key for Wireless Internet at registration.
This WIFI access will work in Fischzucht Sports Area.

Shuttle bus

All participants who signed up for a shuttle bus during registration will get their tickets for the shuttle bus with their registration bag. Check the departure time and bus number on the ticket.
All those who have not registered for the shuttle bus cannot be considered. This applies to both "Competitors as well as for non-competitors”

Registration as a "non-competitor”

Registration as a “non-competitor” is still possible; the registration form will soon be added.
This is only for "non-competitors". The registration fee is € 120 and includes:
● T-shirt
● Free admission to the events
● taking part in the workshops,
● includes:..attend the final party
it does not include any shuttle transfers

IUF ID

There are a number of participants who have not paid the IUF membership. Since IUF-membership is required for all participation of Unicon16, we ask you to do get this done now. For questions about your IUF-ID please contact Thomas Gossmann at mail
