Brixen/Bressanone Southtirol

Brixen/Bressanone is one of the main cities in South Tyrol, in the northern part of Italy. The official languages are German and Italian. Brixen is the German name for the town; Bressanone is the Italian name.

Brixen/Bressanone has a population of 21,000 and 1000 year old history.

The area is renowned for its mountains, such as the Dolomites, which compose a significant section of the Alps. The Dolomites are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
