
Standstill Event Instructions
Stillstand will be an official Unicon discipline for the first time at Unicon16. We will time how long a participant can balance without moving the unicycle.At Unicon 2008 in Denmark this Stillstand timing system for was used the first time.. At the Unicon16 there will be an official Stillstand competition and we will have the first Stillstand world-champion.
The top three times in Denmark 2008 were:

Goal:
Balance as long as possible on your unicycle freely without riding.Standstill-stand:
The Stillstand-stand is located in the Trial-Hall in the area T4.The participant stands with his unicycle on a base plate (15x9cm) and is not allowed to ride off the plate. Left and right of the participant are two handles. When the participant lets go of both handles time starts running.
The time stops when the participant touches the handles.
Rules:
- The time will be measured by competitors touching the handles.- If a participant leaves the base plate without touching the handles beforehand, the
attempt does not count.
- Only attempts longer than 20 seconds are counted.- Each participant has 2 minutes to start a valid attempt.
- Both feet must be on the pedals.
- The top three participants have the opportunity to improve their best time once again in the final. If this fails, then the best time is from the regular season for ranking.
Start time:
Free start time during these hours:24th: 8:00-12:00 and 15:00-20:00h
25th: 8:00-12:00h
Finals of top 3 over all will be held on 25th at 18:00 in the Freestyle Gym.
